The Center for Countering Digital Hate has already revealed that Midjourney's AI has been utilised to create images potentially fueling disinformation about political figures and false election fraud claims. This emerging trend of ultra-realistic deepfakes blurs the line between fact and fiction, amplifying calls for responsible AI use and stricter regulatory frameworks. Holz's answer? “Anybody scared about fake images in 2024 will have a hard 2028."
